I think this picture has so many possibilities. The explorer - where did he come from? What is he looking for? Is he hiding from something or someone? And the house - what's inside? Is it a temple? Or is it hiding a terrible secret beneath its stone floors?
And another issue of The Medieval Chronicle is now available! Click here to read my article. Enjoy! :)

I see many possibilities in this picture too. Certain books come to mind.
I hope you had a good Thanksgiving weekend.
I love looking at photos, paintings, or scenery to inspire a new story or bring life to one I already have in the works.
Cool picture. And congratulations on another article!
Love the picture. I could write a book just on that image. Thanks.
Maybe it's an outhouse and he is sooo relieved! LOL
Just kidding--see what happens when silly thoughts come?
Keep the intriguing pictures coming!
The first thought that came to mind was that old shed thing where Anne (Anne of Green Gables) fell into the well!
But I love this picture. Its beautiful. Except now that's all I can see.
What a great picture. I think looking at photos or drawings is a GREAT way of generating writing ideas!
I love the way the light is coming through the trees and reflecting off the building . . . it looks mystical to me. :)
They say a picture is worth a thousand words

I'm a bit scared by the moody house. Very cool.
That's a very very nice image. I like to think that they just stumbled on this whilst searching for something else, or just generally exploring. Then they find something within that is of great importance, leading them to all sorts of crazy shenanigans :P
