More about the books:
Aislinn of Bairbhe dreams of becoming a lady knight to honor the death of her fallen brother. To her mother's horror, King Patrick grants Aislinn's wish and she begins her long years of training.
Despite the mockery of the other pages, and the disdain of Prince Caelan who also trains to be a knight, Aislinn commits herself to her dreams and embarks on a journey of self-discovery and bravery. Through the years, Aislinn and Caelan grow from sparring classmates to good friends. They both know that someday Caelan will marry for the sake of the kingdom, but even that cannot keep them from falling in love.
The threat of war with the Speicans is a constant threat, and one that grows more frightening as she and Caelan train toward their eventual knighthood. Aislinn has committed herself to serving Arnhem, and has promised herself as King's Champion when Caelan claims the throne. She is willing to give up everything... her childhood, her life, even her heart for Arnhem. No matter the pain it brings.
Seeing for the First Time
For the last ten years, Ana has spent summers with her Gram. With nothing to do, the closest beach two hours away, and Gram, who Ana is convinced is crazy, always in her garden talking to things that aren't there, Ana is bored out of her mind.
One day, Ana sees strange colors floating around Gram as she works in her garden. Gram says they're fairies. She can "See" them, and there are others who can see things. Ana's a Seer, too.
When Gram gives Ana a book that explains about the many different creatures, like selkies, unicorns, vampires, and others, Ana gets curious. She is shocked when she comes across the entry about famous werewolf hunters - her parents.
Determined to learn where she fits in, Ana's summer gets a lot more exciting as she sets off to find out what she can "see." Only problem is, she's not sure what to do when she finally discovers the truth. And she's not sure she'll live to tell anyone.
To See
Now that Ana can see, her summer has taken on a new direction. Instead of shopping and going to the beach with friends, she has to register with the Seer’s Council. There, Ana meets Eric, a hot guy who happens to also be a vampire seer. Eric is impressed that Ana took on a vampire all by herself but wonders if Victor truly is dead.
So Ana and Eric return to the scene of the crime and make a dangerous discovery, one that could put their lives in danger. Snooping around during the daytime seems safe enough, until they lose track of time and night quickly descends. Vampires must hide in shadows, but the moon offers all kinds of opportunities.
Are Ana and Eric the hunters… or the prey?

I read them because I love to just get completely caught up in the story and dream of these magical places.
I love reading fantasy because sometimes it makes more sense than reality. When you can see something through the eyes of a character in another world--it's amazing how easy it is to put my real life in perspective. It's the perfect kind of escape and I simply love to read.
Awesome blog hop. Hearing about the lady knight reminds me of a story by Elizabeth Moon called "The Deeds of Paksenarion". I probably butchered the spelling.
Wonderful blog, excellent to reaad.
Yvonne.
I love fantasy, the escape, the new realms, the new creatures and relationships, the new world. Fantasy is the best!
These sound like wonderful stories. Thanks for the giveaway.
I'm not on Facebook...
Faeries? What's the age appropriateness for them? The Girl loves fairies, but she's almost 5, so....probably not old enough yet. BAH!
Also, I don't single out YA Fantasy. I'll read anything.
I'm always looking for good YA because I have a couple YA's - my grandkids. I think they'll like these.
I love YA! :D
I love young adult fantasy because they tend to feel more pure. Its like that first taste of snow.
Thank you for the giveaway!

Nicole! You just need one more follower!
I read them because they're fun....they still cling to a child side but have an adult side without going overboard...
I am a busy mom of four and I love to escape into a wonderful world of fantasy everyday!

It a way to escape my life for a little while.
it's fun, they have (mostly) happy endings, and it's fantasy ;)
Thanks for discovering my twisted little blog... Im now following you. BTW who doesn't love a good fantasy right? Mine involves this naughty schoolteacher and then.... oh wait... wrong kinda fantasy. I enjoy the books also!
I love reading fantasy because it allows me to escape to another realm.
Fantasy is a great read. I love delving into imaginary and creative worlds. Nice list of titles you have, Nicole.
I read them because I love fantasy.
The creativity & escapism of them. Thanks for the giveaway! Gloria
I've just started reading YA fantasy. It is so fresh and imaginative. And it's much better than the junk on TV now.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I have always love YA fantasy books, even before I could read my aunt would read them to me. I just love the stories.
they are usually clean and fun. But I love lots of different type of books. new gfc follower. please follow back http://readalot-rhonda1111.blogspot.com/
I read YA fantasy mostly just because I think they are a lot of fun and keep me entertained
I love reading fantasy books because it's nice to have a fantasy world I can escape to once in awhile.
I love to read them because when I was a YA there were virtually NO YA books or writers out there. I guess it's kind of a way of recapturing my youth for a few hours.
I've always been a lover of fantasy and fairy tales so YA books still appeal to me!
I read fantasy books because they take me to worlds I would only dream off.. :)
Love your blurbs, Nicole! Sound like great reads! :)
I read them for the thrill of getting transported out of this world and into another losing myself in the story along the way. I love being able to curl up with a good book and waste the day away. :)

I read YA fantasy books because they are amazing and i like the idea of other worlds!!
Amazing giveaway. Thanks.
I have to admit that I don't read all YA fantasy. A lot of the recent paranormal stuff set in the present day just ends up frustrating me. However, some stuff - William Nicholson's Wind on Fire trilogy, Trudi Canavan's The Black Magician trilogy, Alison Croggon's Books of Pellinor - are simply amazing and they're a great way to balance out the heavier fantasy books (Tolkein, Gemmell, Hobb, Kerr, Martin, Rothfuss, etc.)
I love how I can hide away from the real world when I read YA Fantasy. I also think that they are some of the best written books out there. My favorite authors are YA authors!
Hello! You have a most beautiful blog!! Lovely and very dreamy!!
Yay for these wonderful giveaways! All the best and good luck everyone! Take care
x
I love YA because they focus more on the story than adult paranormal which sometimes can just focus on s-e-x!
I LOVE reading YA and Fantasy because the books always take me to a whole new world with characters that relate to me even though they can be completely different creatures(vampires) and do awesome stuff(magic-Potter) AND I enjoy getting a glimpse into another person's mind through their thoughts(narrator in 1st person).
They always have the best book covers too :)

Love the blog hop! Both of the selections sound good to me. I do love YA fantasy.
Sorry I love Fantasy and just reading because it takes you elsewhere. It is like a mini vacation.
Great blog hop... all three books sound amazing. Really like the novel To See... sounds pretty cool.
Mainly because I have a 14 year old granddaughter who loves to read. I decided I would check out the YA books, so she could have more options in reading. Now, I read it, because I really enjoy it.

I don't know why I read young adult fantasy..
I think it's because of my age (I'm 15, so it's easy for me to identify with the characters) and fantasy because it's so far from the reality.. I really love it (:
I love to read all books. Lately I have been reading a lot of YA fantasy and fiction, it's just what has been holding my interest.

I read YA Fantasy books so that I can approve them for my young daughter. She's only 10, but she's extremely advanced in her reading. I feel much more comfortable with her reading books AFTER I've read them so that if there's any questionable content, or if she has any questions, I'll know how to answer her. And it gives us a conversation topic that only "us girls" share - in a household of guys (hubby + 3 sons), that's hard to come by.

I read YA books because the sex in minimul and I always had reading problems in school and YA seems easier for me to understand
They provide the perfect escape from reality into the amazing and fantastical world created by talented author like yourself:
Thank you:)
