Question of the Week - Vampire Zombies

Copyright (c) 123RF Stock Photos
I shared this photo on FB this week and got a ton of comments so I thought I would share it here as well:
What do you think? Personally, I'm a little distracted by the picture itself since it's a dinosaur.

On a slightly more serious note, why would the vampire bite a zombie in the first place? It would make more sense for the zombie to bite the vampire. And then if a zombie killer kills the zombie, would the zombie come back as some kind of ultimate zombie-vampire hybrid?

Hm... sounds like the making of a horror novel! I actually might think more on this...

Hell that's a fantastic idea! A vampire wouldn't go after a zombie though. The "dead" blood would weaken or kill the vampire. Not sure how a zombie would sneak up on a vampire, but I suppose it could happen. And then the vampire would be the creatures from I AM LEGEND, the movie not the book.

I saw a funny picture that showed a zombie biting Chuck Norris with a caption akin to "When zombies bite Chuck Norris, Chuck Norris doesn't become a zombie, the zombie becomes Chuck Norris." Or something like that.

Hehe! Yeah, I'm a bit thrown by the dinosaur.

If a vampire bites a zombie, it's already a zombie, so it wouldn't turn into one. Vampire bites don't make zombies, but more vampires, and there are special rules usually to it. Just a bite typically isn't enough. Now, if a werewolf bit a zombie, then it'd be an entire new thing. ;)

I remember watching a show where a group of "specialists" tried to analyze who would win: Zombies or Vampires. I have to say, I've never seen so much experimentation over something completely fictional. :)

I was totally distracted by that picture too. What, vampires and dinosaurs?? I had to read your post twice!

I'm with you...who thought it was a good idea to throw a dinosaur on the poster? What the heck? I bet if you found the right (crazy) forum you could get people really passionate about this question. LOL :)

I think they will BOTH turn. One will become a flesh-eating, rotting vampire whilst the other will start to look a little refreshed and crave Bloody Marys. No comment on the dinosaur. Maybe the graphic artist gave up.

You should write that one!
I think the vampire would turn into a zombie.

*LOL* Funny to think about, but since both are dead, neither of them would turn.

This one will take a while to clear through my brain. No, no good outcomes no matter how hard I think.

Hmmm...can one undead really turn into another undead or would the bite from a different type of undead just make that undead...uh...undeader?

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? some things, the world may never know lol!!
