What do you consider to be your greatest strength? The greatest strength of your favorite literary character? The greatest strength of one of your characters?
My greatest strength? Probably my willingness to help others. (that can sometimes lead to my inability to say no - which just might be one of my bigger weaknesses). Greatest strength of my favorite literary character? First - my favorite literary character is Snape. His greatest strength was his love for Lily Potter. The greatest strength of one of my characters? Aislinn - the heroine in Woman of Honor - her drive and determination to achieve her goal despite it being against society's normal standards.

I like you can't say no to someone in need, especially family but the strength I possess is when I get "Dirt " thrown in my face sometime later. I try to pick myself up start again and try not to fall in the same trap.
Yvonne.
Snape is a great, complicated character. The best ones always are.
So true about Snape. I think he's one of the best characters ever written. I mean, talk about brilliant! I think my greatest strength is being a good listener - unfortunately I'm also a really good interrupter at times.
I love that assessment of Snape, one of my all time favorite characters!
i think one of my best strenghts is my loyalty. If you're one of my good friends, i stand by you forever.
That's probably my greatest strength as well. Certainly not my writing.
My greatest strength is my ability to organize my time. I think. Ha! I seem to be able to wear many hats and get a lot done in a short amount of time.
I am so shallow that I don't analyze characters, so I'll have to skip the other questions. Plus, my characters always feel so weak to me... Maybe that's a problem...?
Disaster planning. It's my super hero power. I can come up with a Plan B and C (best to have a backup plan for the backup plan) in seconds. It's useful in writing - I can see the worst case scenerio(s) for any situation.
In the novel I just wrote, the mc's strength (and weakness) is her love for her kids.
I've always considered self-reliance my strong point, but lately I'm wondering if I have too much of a good thing...I was reminded that sometimes a strong person knows when to ask for help :-)
I'd have to think about my greatest strength; and I have too many characters I adore in literature to just pick one. Perhaps Lessa, from the Dragonriders of Pern series; she's smart, stubborn, loyal, independent. All traits I indentify with :)
I tend to write characters with those traits too.
.......dhole
Being helpful is very nice.
I find my strength is in being scrappy. If I fail at something, I try to make sure I've learned everything possible and get back up to try something new.
I loved the fact that Ender, from Ender's Game, was innovative. He always thought outside the box.
One of the characters in one of my WiPs has a bit of scrappiness about her that I appreciate.
That is a great strength... Especially since some people struggle to ask for help:)
