Also, I tried commenting on your post a while back about your submission to The Way of the Wizard anthology. Did you ever hear back? I tried it twice and received rejections both times. I hope your story did better.

Cherie, I love your blog. I don't have a livejournal account though so I can't leave you a message. I should probably sign up for one. Anyhow, my wizard story was rejected. :( I figured that would be a tough anthology to crack though, so I wasn't surprised.

I also have a blogger account, too. I put most of the same information on both, but I thought if I had two blogs then I might be able to reach people who are on one or the other. It's at cheriereich(dot)blogspot(dot)com.
Yeah, I think about everyone was rejected from the Wizard anthology. Are you trying for Sword & Sorceress 25? I think you'd be good at it. I sent a story in yesterday, so I'm waiting and seeing. Of course, it'll probably will be rejected, but it never hurts to try. :)

I wrote a short story for S&S last year and was rejected but that's not stopping me from working on another one. I'm almost finished it but first I have to figure out how to kill a sand dragon. :) Good luck with your submission! I would so love to have a story included, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
