Weekly Progress Report - Editing and No Baby (Yet)

I already stopped editing for the publishers that I work for which has freed up a bunch of time for me to edit some of my own stories. I received awesome feedback from beta readers and am incorporating their feedback into the different stories. It's a little scary to be almost ready to start querying again. Scary but also exciting.

In other news - no baby yet. My due date came and went yesterday but it wasn't without some bumps. A little after noon yesterday, I realized I hadn't felt baby #3 move. At all. Which was so so scary considering that baby #3 is by far the most active. I called the doctor's office, they sent me to triage and hooked me up to the monitor. The heartbeat was good and strong and they checked the fluid level. Everything looked good so they sent me home. I'm ready for baby #3 to come into the world. Here's hoping my body is soon too.

How goes your writing? Your reading? Seen any good movies lately? What have you been up to? Aren't great beta readers awesome?

  1. I know how scary that can be. I hope you get to see your little one soon. P.S. Maybe it's just me, but I can read you in my reader. However, when I go to visit your site, everything is almost totally black. Not sure why this would be. Maybe it's just my computer being funky, but I don't have this problem with other blogspot blogs.

  4. I can feel your pain. I was two weeks late with my daughter.

    Yeah.

I've started back to working on my revision for MINGLED. It's going a little slow but steady.

  5. I'm glad everything was okay. My mom had the same problem with my sister a few days before she went into labor. Maybe it's kinda normal.

I'm working on Gravity #2 this week and trying to catch up on everything else.

  6. Fingers crossed baby comes soon. I consider myself lucky, I didn't quite reach my due date with either of mine - I think they intuitively knew I was an impatient mummy!

  7. Hope Baby comes soon, Nicole. I didn't do an update today. I guess I am thrown off by the holiday yesterday.
