Weekly Progress Report - Writing and Editing and No Reading

Since last week, I wrote another 26,400 words of Two Princesses, One Prince, and a Dragon to be slightly over 50K for the month so far. The story isn't quite done yet but maybe by next week. Definitely by the end of the month which makes me very happy. Even if baby #3 comes early, at least the story will be done.

I've also been editing like crazy this month and I just got two more stories to edit. I'm hoping to get as much editing done before baby #3 comes. Then I'll take a little break.

And what will I be doing during that break? Reading! I've been too busy writing and editing to read right now. I'm really looking forward to getting some reading done once the baby comes since I promised hubby I won't write or edit at all for at least two weeks after the baby is born.

How goes your writing? Your reading? Seen any good movies lately? What have you been up to?

Check out some other great progress reports this week:

  2. After my first child was born, I think it took about ten years before I had time (or energy) to read anything. :/ Good for you!

  3. You are my champion. Seriously. How you get so much accomplishes... I think you're relaxed. Yes. That's what it has to be. I need to relax and just write, too.

Send me some of your awesome vibes, today. I MUST write a short story for an anthology submission. I've been trying for three weeks and nothing feels right. What do you do when you get this way?

  17. Wonderful progress. Reading is a great thing to do when baby #3 gets hear since that is something you can do with one hand :-) (baby will be cradled in the crook of the other arm)

I wish you well as you continue to fire at all pistons.

I am rewriting some words I lost. But thankfully, since I'm not under a dire deadline, it's not too painful a process.

  18. Wow! That's a lot of words! I wish I had time to be that prolific. I am in the revision stage right now though and have promised to read many things for many people. A little behind. Good luck with the new baby! Hope everything goes smoothly!
