Giveaways Galore including Name a Super Villain!

In celebration of finishing up White Hellebore before sending it to my editor, I thought I would have my readers and friends help to name the super villain in the story.

For those who have read Black Hellebore know the super villain is Skull Krusher. In White Hellebore, the super villain starts out as a genius scientist who has good intentions but things don't quite go as Hunter Walter planned and now he has extra, super strong limbs and periods where he black outs and another side of him surfaces.

Any ideas for the super villain name? Whichever name I choose, the winner will be mentioned in the acknowledgements of the story AND will win a print copy of Black Hellebore when it's available. Feel free to list as many names as you can think of!

And don't forget to enter my other giveaways!

  1. A name for a super villain, eh? The question is if you want something symbolic, fantastic, or realistic. If your bad guy is a brain, I think his alias would reflect his literary or scientific hero. Does he only go by the name when he blacks out? So many things to consider...

  2. The name could be symbolic or fantastic or realistic. In fact, I could probably work several names into the story. One he calls himself, one the media has for him, and one the Black Hellebore refers to him by. A literary or scientific name is a good idea...

  3. I'll have to think on that. He's like Jekyll and Hyde, so I'm thinking something with Hyde in it. Will come back!

  4. My favorite super hero? I have to go with Wolverine or my hubs might divorce me.

Hmmm, a name. I thought of white and thought of Vikings. Then I thought, hmmm, a Viking name might be cool, so I googled Viking names, then I saw where Vikings kept bears as pets, but then the bears could go rogue and become a nuisance, so they banned them. (See why reading blogs takes me sooo long?)
But anyhow, by the end of my virtual meandering I came up with the name Hyde (bc I like Alex's idea) Hvítabiôrn (Norse for white bear)
So, that's my choice Hyde Hvitabiorn.
Here's the link to the white bear tale, if you're curious :)
