During the month of November, I wrote about 87K - 80K for Crystal's Magic and a 7K short romance story.
Now that November is over and it's December, I'm having a little bit of a hard time getting back into the writing saddle. I want to finish my fantasy MG story about a princess who loves adventures and has a tendency to lie before next year so I better get started. I'm about a 1/4 of the way through it, but that's where I was before Nano.
Instead of writing, I've been doing a lot of editing. My brain is gonna melt, I swear.
What have you been up to post Nano?

Your word count is amazing! I haven't done any writing post NaNo. Too much holiday stuff to do! Hopefully I'll get some time today if the little guy takes a decent nap.
ReplyDeleteI only wrote 12k in November. I want to finish my WIP before the new year too, but I've been so sick I can't write for long at a time.
ReplyDeleteWow, great progress in November! That's fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI think we all need a break after November, Nicole. Especially you! 87K is A LOT!!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing word count there! It's no wonder you're having a hard time getting back in that writing saddle.
ReplyDeleteI've been writing a little bit, editing a little bit, and reading more.
I think one of the NaNo drawbacks is writers get burnt out after their furious efforts in November. Congrats on getting all that writing done!! Even a short story? YOu rock. Best of luck with all your current projects :)
ReplyDeleteStill trying to figure out what I want to write next...
ReplyDeleteI haven't written a word since last Tuesday. Just catching up on things, but I'm itching to get back in.
