Going to a Writer's Conference This Weekend

Last year I went to a local writer's conference called The Write Stuff in Allentown, Pa. I had a blast and met several cool authors. I'm going again this year, and I can't wait! Like last year, I'll take plenty of notes at the different workshops and pass along the information onto you.

Have you ever been to a writer's conference? If not, would you ever go to one? What do you or would you hope to get out of a writer's conference?

    Have a great time Nicole. I am green with envy. I have yet to attend a conference. I am hoping to attend the World Fantasy Convention in 2012 which is coming to Toronto. Very close to where I live.

    Have fun at your conference! I went to the James River Writers Conference last October, and it was phenomenal. I plan to go again this year.

    I've never been to a writer's conference--woulnd't know where to begin!

    I belong to the SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators) and go twice a year when I can. Love conferences--the networking, the great tips, the invaluable critiques and so on. :) Hope you enjoy yours this year!
